kbas pimp-post - Leverage
(For this show, my pairing request was OT3 with Elliot, Parker and Hardison)
Nate is the mastermind. He’s the one that thinks of the plans, and who will do what and when that will happen. The only one who wasn’t a criminal before everything started, as he was in fact someone who caught criminals for a job! Until he wasn’t.
Sophie is, in the show’s words, a grifter. In her own words, if she does her job well, her mark will be stealing the thing for her. She’s one hell of an actress when she’s on a job. She and Nate and A Story before everything began, he almost caught her several times in the past. They charmed each other, and so when he needed extra help for a job, he thought of her. The rest was history.
Parker is the best. I mean. She’s a thief. She knows how to pick any lock and the best way to get inside somewhere to get something out. Has been most of her life alone, orphan child going from foster home to foster home and then being kind of raised by another thief and sadistic and loves to jump from buildings and money. She’s very logical and goes straight to the point, sometimes without considering other very human things. Or she did, anyway.
(Alec) Hardison is a hacker. One of the most skilled hackers you will be able to find. Can reboot a plane without even being there. Could do entire jobs without even getting up from the chair — but you know, that is kinda the point. But he’s also very funny and earnest and a geek. God he’s such a geek. And he makes Parker a geek too. It’s great. I love him. Also he plays the violin and paints??
Elliot is the hitter. Retrieval agent, as he calls himself. Kind of a bodyguard, but better. He’s strong and knows how to lay a punch and looks kind of rough, but then he’s actually very soft inside. He has done a lot of things he regrets in the past, but he does not regret this thing they are doing. Also he’s an excellent chef.
Andnow! Some gifsets to let the characters speak for themselves!
So look, I love this show with all my heart and I love them all individually SO MUCH and I love that they made Parker and Hardison canon (and if you wanna give me that, dude, go ahead) but they just. MAKE SO MUCH SENSE? I mean at the end they end up ruling everything so there is that.
But wait, you’re here because you don’t know them, so let’s start from the beginning. Leverage is a show about a group of criminals that do questionable things to bad people for good reasons. The team is made by five people: Nate, Sophie, Parker, Hardison and Elliot. Each of them has a specific area of the criminal world where they excel in.
Nate is the mastermind. He’s the one that thinks of the plans, and who will do what and when that will happen. The only one who wasn’t a criminal before everything started, as he was in fact someone who caught criminals for a job! Until he wasn’t.

Together, they help people who would not have the means otherwise, when they are being taken advantage of by large corporations or otherwise very powerful people. It’s a very funny show and of course I think you should watch it, and if you do? Please hit me up because I love it.
(Also it has all the references to all the shows you might like. It’s like. Food porn. For fandom. And in a show)
Anyway, why this OT3? So see, we have Parker, who actually doesn’t know how to care for people at the beginning, hasn’t had anyone that cared about her either for a long time; we have Elliot, who cares so much but refrains himself because he doesn’t want to get people hurt, who has felt all his life that he had to choose between his job and his life, and we have Hardison, who cares. He gets involved and cares about them and bonds with them. Tries to include them in the stuff he likes, and reassures them when they need to.
That doesn’t mean they are not little shits to each other. Like, Parker throws Hardison off a building on their first outing together (with a harness) and he hates it but yet she keeps doing it later, and Elliot and Hardison spend a lot of their time together bickering at each other. Doesn’t matter if they are at home or in the middle of a job with guys about to surround them.
If I had to pick one episode for you to watch it would be 5x12, the rundown job. It’s an episode where neither Nate or Sophie are there, so you get to watch how absolutely cool and well they are together. And maybe a good luck kiss or two. Actually, have a look at the start of the episode and see what I mean (in a gifset)
Andnow! Some gifsets to let the characters speak for themselves!
