It's so tragic that this fandom has so little fics. So so tragic. First and foremost because I get into fandoms reading fic!! Alas, if it's not there, let's make it, right?
A little intro about the group, from Wikipedia:
Girl group formed by Fantagio in 2017. The group consists of eight members: Ji Su-yeon, Elly, Choi Yoo-jung, Kim Do-yeon, Sei, Lua, Rina, and Lucy.

The girls were scouted very young and they have all grown up together, basically growing up as friends since very young. It's something that it shows, specially on their dance practice videos, where they look like they are having fun a lot. One of the anecdotes that I remember hearing was that back when they were trainees, they thought that they would all grow to be very tall -- and that turned out to be the case for four of them. However, for the othe four, their company was worried that there was something wrong with their growth, and it just turned out that everything was okay -- they were just not meant to grow as tall as the rest of the members.
So now it is not unusual to find them dividing the team into Weki and Meki teams for games -- tall members and short members, but all equally ruthless and willing to win.
Also a lot, if not all, of them went to Produce 101, the first season, so you might already know some of them.
Here is their latest comeback (Cool), which I think you should watch. And they did a stage with the theme of Ocean's 8 in the past which is also very amazing. But also, I am biased, so suit yourself.
Now, for pairings:
Doyeon/Yoojung
They have been best friends for like. EVER. In fact, they were in the group that went to Produce, and not only that, but they managed to debut with the group. Yes, both of them! They were very very close during the show, and of course the year that they spent during IOI helped them get even closer. Once that was over, their company yeeted them to LA alone and made them film a vlog of their trip, very honeymoon-y.
They went to school together, debuted together, and they are still in the same group together.
They are the epitome of height difference hugs, too.
And for their 6th anniversary, they got married. Or so they say. They were doing a Q&A on insta together this summer and this came up.
Doyeon looks really fancy and cool but she's actually the biggest dork and she loves to make everyone. She's also the biggest Yoojung fan, hyping her to everyone willing to listen (last instance of that: their last Knowing Bros appeareance together, saying that no one could beat Yoojung on boy group covers, but definitely not the only one.)
Yoojung is a dancer. She really, really loves to dance, and it shows. She needs to be really comfortable to bloom and having Doyeon beside her through a lot of her life really helped her. About her ideal person, she has said that she doesn't care about gender and things like that. That she cares about what she feels. Like the feeling of when Doyeon laughs.
Elly/Lucy
Here's the thing. I would like to say I have a very deep reason to ship this but the truth is... I don't. What happened with this was that during the Crush MV (Elly and Lucy, for reference) they had their scenes together and they were very pretty and very cute and I got the idea of them and some kind of too fast too furious kind of fic.
it helped that for a bit there it seemed like Weki Meki had like a spy concept, full with code names and everything. It was great. The fic never happened but I liked the idea and I liked them a lot. And now I am stupidly attached to this ship. it helps that they take very cute pics togehter.
This, by the way, is the Crush MV (their scenes are the ones with the car). I am deeply in love with it years later. Like Cool is amazing and I bow to Lua in there but this??? Amazing.
If i could get Cool!Lua in the Crush mv I'd be the happiest ever.
Which brings us to...
Lua/Sei
Speaking of Lua. Did you see how GOOD she looks lately? Because she looks REALLY GOOD. Like her styling for the Cool era is amazing. Spectacular.
So, the Crush MV, right? Lua, in there, her story is with Sei. And I get attached, okay? (Sei is the one putting stickers in her gun, Lua the one with the super strength, for reference) So of course... That's where my mind went. And okay it really helps that Sei also looks super good this comeback. Like you probably haven't seen her but please LOOK AT HER.
They would look amazing and I would let them rule the world, if they wanted to.
And last, but not least...
Lua/Elly
Look. I don't know, okay? This isn't really deep. I just saw one (1) tweet that i will link in a bit and while the thought did not cross my mind before, I was sold and I am ready to be convinced to see the light.
This is the tweet I mean. If something like this, so super cute, happens so frequently? I'm in, I wanna see it, I wanna read about it and there's exactly 0 fics about it.
