There is something that I noticed lately, and that is that I get quite attached to music videos that tell a story. You’ll say that all music videos tell stories in their own way and you would be correct, but I’m specifically referring to those that have an actual plot on the video.
I recently realized this because as it turns out, that is how I ended up acquiring groups to like.
There’s VIXX, with Love Equation and Eternity and Jekyll&Hyde, which got my attention, and later with the Conception series.
There’s Gfriend, who I was a little on the verge of, until they released Navillera, which I still wish to write a fic of to this very day. And whose winter releases seem to be story fodder for months.
More recently there’s Weki Meki, who I had kept an eye on because of Yoojung and Doyeon, but that absolutely got me with Crush; and Dreamcatcher, who I tried to not like at first but they started with a full plot and linked mv’s; and LOONA, who I also tried to not pay attention to, but that takes the plotting to a whole new level.
It’s fair to say that there is a pattern.
